Construction programme intelligence

Know what should be built before the site falls behind.

FloatSight reads the programme your planner already issues and turns it into answers the whole team can act on: what should be built by any date, what changed in the latest revision, and where the warning signs are.

No card required. Unlimited projects on every paid plan.

The problem it solves

The programme decides time and money. Few people can read it.

  • Programmes are hard to read for anyone who is not a planner

Project managers, commercial managers, client representatives and subcontractors often receive the programme only as a PDF.

  • Every revision changes something

Working out what moved, what was added and what was removed takes hours of side-by-side checking.

  • Under NEC4 and FIDIC the programme is a contract document

It comes with fixed response periods and notice deadlines. A missed reply or a late notice costs real money. In CECA's July 2024 survey, fewer than 30% of NEC projects had a programme accepted every period.

What FloatSight does

Six things, on the files you already have

  • 01Import

Asta, P6, Microsoft Project, Excel and PDF. See what was read and what is missing before anything is saved.

  • 02Explain

An interactive Gantt, what should be done by any date, and an assistant that answers by citing the activities.

  • 03Compare

Revision against revision: dates moved, activities added or removed, milestones slipping.

  • 04Warn

Rule-based early warnings, lookaheads from 7 to 42 days and a risk register your team owns.

  • 05Check

The programme and the Contractor's notices against the contract: NEC4 ECC, JCT 2016 and FIDIC 2017.

  • 06Prepare

Reports, draft responses and Notices in Word, and Excel exports. It never sends anything on its own.

Four principles of trust

Traceable
Every answer shows where it came from: activity ID, revision, file row, PDF page or sentence in the minutes.
Calculated, not guessed
Dates, durations, the critical path and comparisons are computed by the scheduling engine, the same way every time. The AI does not do the maths.
Facts kept apart
Facts, calculations, assumptions and forecasts are always labelled. An activity is not late just because its date has passed: that needs reported progress.
You decide
FloatSight proposes a result for each check. You decide, edit the wording and sign.

How it works

From the planner's file to answers the site team can use

  1. Upload the programme you already have

No re-keying and no template. Every upload is kept as an unchanged original.

  2. Check what was read

Missing dates, duplicate IDs, circular logic and odd durations are flagged row by row. Fix or exclude them before anything is saved.

  3. Pick any date

See what the programme says should be finished, in progress or starting soon - separately from what has actually been reported.

  4. Ask, compare, report

Ask questions in plain English, compare revisions activity by activity, and export a report for the client meeting.

Questions answered from the data, with the evidence attached

Dates, counts and comparisons are calculated by the scheduling engine, not guessed by a language model. The assistant explains the result and shows you exactly which activities it used.

Which milestones are coming up in the next 14 days?

2 milestones are dated between 9 October 2026 and 23 October 2026:

  • M1010 Substructure complete — 12 October 2026 (reported not started)
  • M1015 Basement handed over to MEP — 21 October 2026

Supported files

Works with the files you already have

Asta Powerproject (.pp, .ppb)
Read natively: activity IDs, summary structure, FS/SS/FF/SF links with lags, calendars, progress and the data date. Baseline files become the reference for later issues.
Microsoft Project XML and Primavera P6 XER
Activities, WBS or outline structure, relationships with lags, calendars, progress and the status date. Microsoft Project Baseline 0 is kept. For .mpp files, save as XML first.
Excel and CSV
Exports from Asta, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and hand-built trackers. Columns are matched automatically and can be remapped.
PDF programme exports
Text-based Gantt prints are read from the page layout and always sent to review. Scanned images are rejected rather than guessed.

Native .mpp files and Primavera P6 XML are planned.

Principles

Built to be trusted in a progress meeting

  • It never fills in a missing date, link or progress figure. Gaps are shown as gaps.
  • Early warnings are rules you can read, with their evidence attached. There are no black-box delay predictions.
  • It works alongside Asta, P6 and Microsoft Project. Your planners keep authoring the programme where they do today.
  • Your programmes are private to your organisation and are not used to train AI models.
