Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0 — effective 15 October 2026

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service between Neosphyr Ltd and its customers. It applies to every person who uses FloatSight. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

1. Lawful and authorised use

You must use FloatSight only for lawful business purposes connected with planning, managing and reviewing construction and engineering projects, and only with information you are entitled to use.

You must not upload, store or process:

  • documents or data that you do not have the right to share with us, including information you hold under a confidentiality obligation that does not permit disclosure to software providers;
  • special category personal data (for example health, ethnicity, religion or trade union membership), criminal offence data, payment card data or national identification numbers;
  • information that is classified, subject to security vetting, or controlled under export control or sanctions laws;
  • content that is defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene or otherwise unlawful;
  • malware, or files designed to exploit, disrupt or overload systems.

2. Security and integrity

You must not:

  • attempt to access accounts, projects or data that you are not authorised to access;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass authentication, rate limits, usage limits or AI credit limits, without our prior written consent (if you have found a security issue, please report it to support@floatsight.com);
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure or other customers' use of it;
  • use automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access the Service other than through features we provide for that purpose;
  • share login credentials or let more people use an account than your plan allows.

3. AI features

You must not:

  • use the AI Programme Assistant to generate content unrelated to your projects, or to try to extract the system instructions, other customers' data or confidential information about the Service;
  • submit instructions or documents intended to manipulate the AI model into ignoring its safeguards;
  • present AI Outputs to third parties as the advice of a qualified professional, or as statements made by Neosphyr.

4. Professional responsibility

You must not use FloatSight as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions, for certifying works, or for issuing contractual notices, claims or submissions without review by a competent person. Outputs must be checked against the source documents and the applicable contract before they are relied on.

5. Competition and intellectual property

You must not copy, frame, resell or reverse engineer the Service (except as the law expressly permits), use it to build or train a competing product, or remove proprietary notices.

6. Breach

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may remove or disable access to the content concerned, suspend the accounts involved under clause 17 of the Terms of Service and, where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant authorities. You are responsible for breaches by your Authorised Users.

To report misuse, write to support@floatsight.com.
